Shinjak’s Listening Lounge

After a performance at New York City’s Knitting Factory, BTKB’s van was broken into and virtually all of their instruments and equipment were stolen. The van was sitting in front of the Holiday Inn on Lafayette Street in the Manhattan-Downtown/Soho area. There is a reward for any information you may have. Please contact the band at bucktownkickback@yahoo.com if you have any information.

Here is a list of the stolen gear:

1968 Gibson J50

Deering Maple Blossom Banjo

1939 Johann Nurnberg, Plywood Double Bass

Carvin LB 75 5-String Electric Bass

LR BAGGS Para Acoustic DI and power amp

2 Ultrasound UltraDI preamp/direct boxes

Pierre Josephs String Charger Pickup w/ Bridge Charger addition

and a slew of tuners, cables and assorted personal property.

The equipment was valued at around $7,000. Hard earned money for road weary musicians
And if nothing else, go buy a copy of their new album so they can get the money to buy their gear back! It’s available at the following locations:

City Hall Records

While you are at it, go see BTKB live! They appreciate your support.
