Bucktown Kickback is apparently working on a new album slated for release in the Spring of 2009. Here is the blurb from their website:
Scheduled for release Spring 2009, Bucktown Kickback’s new album focuses on narrative, rootsy songs Adam has been writing and performing with his friends and co-writers while living in Nashville, TN.
I’m looking forward to hearing what these guys have been working on in the last couple of months. I would really like to see a couple of live tracks on this album, since IMHO that is where this band excels. But I understand the need for a showcase of Adam’s songwriting skills. Plus, who cares what I think?
Here is a good example of the boys working out that live thang:

Shinjack my good man, long time no see… since Canyon’s I think. We are nearly finished with a new disk and while it was not a “live” recording in the sense of everyone standing in the same room together while recording, it is one of the most “live” recordings we have made. Raw Bucktown. Planning to have it done by March. Tour dates are filling up as I type:). Hope to see you again soon. Here are some brand new links (and some old ones):

Hey Jay, good to hear from you. Sounds like you have been hard at work on the new album, can’t wait to hear it in March. Hopefully we’ll cross paths sometime in the next year. Do you know if Adam S. will be touring with you? Hope 2009 is good to you.
